Stony Point Man Arrested On Virginia Fugitive Warrant

A Stony Point man has been arrested on an outstanding fugitive warrant from the state of Virginia.

On Tuesday, Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies located 40-year old Kevin Ray Norton. Norton is wanted in Virginia for felony probation violations. He was placed on probation following an unspecified drug related conviction. Norton has been placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $57,500. He is awaiting extradition to face the charge in the state of Virginia.
