On Sunday, July 7, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant C. Little conducted a traffic stop on Old Mountain Road. During the stop, the occupants of the vehicle were identified as Josh Allen Williamson, age 28, and Kadi Woodman Laws, age 34. Both are listed as residents of the same location in Stony Point.
Lieutenant Little and Deputy English, who arrived to assist with the traffic stop, spoke with the two suspects and based on answers provided to various questions, the deputies were able to search the vehicle.
Deputies discovered 73.03 grams of Marijuana, 5.69 grams of Methamphetamine, and various drug paraphernalia. Both Williamson and Laws were immediately arrested.Both suspects are charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, and two misdemeanor drug offenses. Williamson was also charged with Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale and Use of a Controlled Substance.
