Stony Point Duo Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

Two Stony Point residents are facing felony drug charges.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Officers arrested the couple on Monday evening.

Scotti Wayne Pharr, age 49, is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody under a secured bond of $20,000. A District Court date is set for August 19th in Taylorsville

Pharr has previous charges pending in Alexander County that include felony possession both schedule I and II controlled substances, felony possession of methamphetamine and felony probation violation.

Hazel Cook Daugherty, age 51, is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in custody under a secured bond of $20,000. A District Court date is set for August 19th in Taylorsville.
