A Statesville woman is serving a 20-day sentence in the Alexander County Detention Center. On Monday, 36-year-old Samantha Nicole Freeman was ordered to jail following a court apppearance. She as found to be non-compliant to terms of her probation. Freeman was convicted in February on a charge of possession of schedule II controlled substance.
