Statesville Woman Facing Felony Drug Counts In Alexander County

As the result of a traffic stop on Tuesday, 64-year old Kathleen Louise Clydesdale of Statesville is facing felony drug charges in Alexander County. Deputies charged Clydesdale with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a controlled substance on jail premises and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center as of earlier today and is scheduled for District Court on Monday in Taylorsville.

Clydesdale is awaiting trial in Iredell County for felony habitual larceny, misdemeanor larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Her next court date in Staesville is set for September 25th.
