The Statesvile Police Department is searching for a man they say is connected to three armed robberies
On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at approximately 7:45 PM, officers with the Statesville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Dollar General located at 1500 W. Front Street. According to employees, two black males entered the store, demanded money, and left shortly after being unable to access the store’s safe.
As officers were investigating the incident, a second call came in at 8:15 PM reporting another armed robbery at the Dollar General located at 922 Shelton Avenue. The suspects matched the description from the earlier robbery. In this incident, a small amount of cash and various tobacco products were stolen. Fortunately, no employees were harmed during either event.

Chance Jalieb Jamison
As a result of these investigations, outstanding warrants have been issued for Chance Jalieb Jamison, including:
• 3 Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
• 2 Counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
• 1 Count of Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
• 2 Counts of Felony Conspiracy
• 1 Count of Second-Degree Kidnapping
Jamison also has outstanding warrants from neighboring agencies and remains at large at this time.
