Statesville Police Charge Three Men For October Fire

Statesville Police say they have charged three men in connection to a fire that injured a woman in October.

The fire was reported in the early morning hours of October 14 at 520 Bond Street. A female resident of the home suffered severe burns and was transported to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for treatment. Her condition has not been updated. The fire was ruled suspicious.

On November 1st, three men were arrested in Dallas Texas.

Oscar Humberto Bernal-Ardon, age 33, Rudy Ardon Santos, 33, and Oscar Armando Larin, 45, all of Statesville are each charged with first-degree arson.

The suspects have been returned to North Carolina and are being held in the Iredell County Detention Center.
