Statesville Man Jailed On Alexander County Charges

James Nicholas Jordan, age 31 of Statesville, was placed in Alexander County custody on Thursday, February 6th. He was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and served Alexander County warrants for failure to appear. The original charges date to 2023 when Jordan was detained by Taylorsville Police for assault by pointing a gun, resisting arrest, larceny and second-degree trespass. Jordan has another previous charge awaiting trial in Alexander County for felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Those charges are set for Superior Court on March 17th

As of Earlier today, Jordan remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $12,000.
