Statesville Man Charged With Trafficking Cocaine

A Statesville man is facing felony drug counts in Catawba County.

54-year old Harold Lee Jackson was arrested Tuesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony trafficking in cocaine and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance. He remains in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $155,000. Jackson is scheduled for a Newton court appearance today.
