Statesville Man Charged This Morning After Vehicle Pursuit In Alexander County

Donnell Fredrick Stribling, age 44, Wilson Lee Blvd. Statesville was arrested after a vehicle pursuit Monday morning in Alexander County. An Alexander County Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle operated by Stribling. Stribling allegedly attempted to elude the arrest at speeds of up to 85 miles-per-hour. The charges include driving with license revoked and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. The suspect remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000 by a judge during first court appearance. According to records, the judge considered previous pending charges and a lengthy criminal record when setting bond.
