Alexander County Deputies arrested Travis Scott Melvin, age 37 of Statesville on Friday, July 19th following a brief vehicle pursuit. Melvin was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. He has been released from custody under a bond of $3,500 and is scheduled to appear in District Court on August 12th in Taylorsville.
