The NC High School Athletic Association has released the first 2025-2029 Conference Realignment Proposal. This IS NOT a final plan. It’s likely there will be multiple projections before an alignment is accepted in time for the Fall 2025 Semester Sports Schedule.
The state is adopting a new 8 division method, 1A-8A, using only average daily school enrollment.
