South Caldwell Sinks The Cougars

South Caldwell 51 Alexander Central 42

Taylorsville: The visiting Lady Spartans outscored Alexander Central 18-10 in the final period to take the win Friday night. Ava Anderson led South (6-2 in Northwestern Conference and 15-7 overall) with 24 points. Meredith Wike had 16 points and a game-high 14 rebounds for ACHS who falls to 3-5 and 13-9.

Varsity Men

South Caldwell 63 Alexander Central 47

The Cougars led 16-15 at the end of the opening period to see the Spartans take-over 48-31 the rest of the contest. South had 3 players in double-figures led by Conner Setzer with 18. Jayon Connor paced AC with 23 points and 13 rebounds. South is now 6-2 and 15-6 while the Cougars fall to 4-4 and 10-11.
