The Spartans got the win Thursday at Central Park in Taylorsville riding the arm of pitcher Kadie Becker. She allowed only 1 hit and struck-out 10.
South picked up their two runs in the 3rd inning when they strung together 3 straight hits with two outs. AC scratched a run in the 4th without a hit.
Alexander Central falls to 10-2 overall and 9-2 in Northwestern Conference Play. South Caldwell stays perfect on the season at 10-0.
