Bryan David Hall
31-year old Bryan David Hall lives at the Johnny Martin Lane residence where the shooting incident was reported to have taken place. Hall is charged with assault by pointing a gun, simple assault and assault by communicating threats. Sheriff Chad Pennell says investigators saw video of the shooting taking place.
Hall is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center. His father 60-year James Henry Hall of the same Stony Point address remains in jail under a secured bond of $75,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday in Taylorsville.
The investigation continues. Sheriff Pennell said this morning that at least two other people were at the scene during at time of the shooting.
The victim who has not been identified suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to a leg.
