Hickory Police Officers are on the scene of a a shooting at Blue Ridge Heights Apartments on Second Street SW.
A woman told a media representative that her brother was shot and killed according to The Hickory Daily Record.
Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the scene as well.

4:34 pm…A man has died as the result of the shooting. He’s identified by a family member as 35-year-old Shonniel Blackburn.
