Sherill Recognized At Best High School Coach In North Carolina

Former Alexander Central Softball coach Monte Sherill has been tabbed is the best coach in North Carolina by maxpreps.com.

Sherill, now the coach at Pfieffer University guided the Lady Cougar program for 22 years. He won 8 state titles in Taylorsville and a pair during a stint at Central Cabarrus. His high school coaching record stands at 753-60.
