LANSING – A short stretch of N.C. 194 will close in Ashe County while N.C. Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe.
N.C. 194 will close near Don Adams Road beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, to replace a pipe Hurricane Helene damaged.
Message boards have been placed near the work zone to alert local traffic ahead of the closure.
Detour signs will guide traffic around the closure using Glenn King Road, Big Piney Creek Road and Piney Creek Road.
The road is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6.
