My mother was born on this day. She passed many years ago. I learned so much from that sweet lady but the one that comes to mind right now is how she suggested that I should always always be kind to the people that prepare your food. I was just a teen and must have been giving her less than a pleasurable time when she quipped,” You know, I can get you whenever I want to, don’t forget I cook your food” I love you Mom !
