To enhance safety, Alexander County is converting a segment of 2nd Street SW in downtown Taylorsville to a one-way street with parking. The street, located between the Alexander County Services Center and Courthouse Park, will flow from Main Avenue to Main Avenue Drive (north to south) upon completion, with diagonal parking on the west side.
