A serious accident in southeastern Alexander County shortly after the noon hour today has resulted in one person suffering potential life-threatening injuries.
Alexander County 911 dispatched emergency responders to the 600 block of Old Concord Church Road. A one-vehicle accident left one person pinned-in the wreckage. The victim was airlifted after a landing zone was established at Third Creek Baptist Church.
Alexander County Rescue, EMS, and multiple fire departments responded.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating.
