One Dead After Vehicle Slams Into Statesville Laundromat

One person was killed this morning in Statesville when a vehicle crashed into a laundromat.

Statesville Police say a vehicle traveling south on Shelton Avenue left the street and traveled more than 100 feet before crashing into C&H Laundry. Part of the building collapsed.

As the result of the crash the vehicle caught fire.

No other details including the name of the victim has been released.
