Malena Nicole Cornett, age 28 of North Wilkesboro, was arrested and detained on Friday in Alexander County. She was served arrest warrants for failure to appear on charges of felony possession of schedule II control substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. Cornette was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $7,000. A July 31st court date is scheduled.
