A man who was found dead in a Wilkes County wooded area last week died of natural causes.
A preliminary autopsy report revealed no evidence of foul-play in the death of 46-year old Martin Shane Canter. Canter’s body was found off West Waugh Street around 4:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 18.
The area is said to often be a camp-site for homeless according to North Wilkesboro Police.
