The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Newton woman Wednesday morning. 27-year old Michelle Simpson Greer faces charges of felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in then Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. Greer is scheduled to make a court appearance today.
