Newton Man Given Jail Time In Alexander County

A Newton man will serve 90 days in the Alexander County Jail.

On Wednesday, 29-year-old Dillon Shane Uzzell was convicted of assault and communicating threats. The defendant was already serving an 18 month suspended sentence from Catawba County for assault.
