Newton Man Arrested On Fugitive Warrants

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Newton man Wednesday morning on numerous counts including

failure to appear on a charge of second degree rape. 40 year old Terry William Dorsey also faces charges for failure to appear for sexual battery, second degree sexual offense, resisting arrest, burning of personal property, and malicious conduct by a prisoner. Dorsey is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $75,000.
