A Hickory City School Bus was involved in an accident this morning. The bus had no students on board when the crash occurred at the intersection of 12th Avenue NE and Highway 127. The mishap took place a few minutes after students had been dropped off at Hickory High School. No injuries were reported. The crash was not weather related other than it happened on a day when classes were delayed after the weekend storm. Hickory Police and the North Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
