More Information About Man Charged In Alexander County With Indecent Liberties With A Child

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has released new information today about a man charged with indecent liberties with a child.

On January 20th, B86 Radio reported 27-year old Corey Dalton Anderson of Caldwell County was taken into custody . Anderson was arrested in Caldwell County on a warrant from Alexander County for indecent liberties with a child. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000.

On Monday, Alexander County Sheriff Chris Bowman said, On January 4th, the Sheriff’s Office received the report of a possible sexual assault of a thirteen year old. The Alexander County Department of Social Services was notified of the allegations. According to the report, the incident occurred over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

27-year old Corey Dalton Anderson of Caldwell County was identified as the suspect.
Anderson made an initial court appearance on Thursday, January 20th and remains in the Alexander County Detention Center.
