More Arrests In Alexander County Shooting

On Monday, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office announced some additional arrests in connection with a Eastern Alexander County Shooting.

Deputies were called to a location around midnight on June 5th to S Thomas Ln in Stony Point. Officers found a juvenile male injured from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim made statements to the officers at the scene and was transported to a local hospital. The victim was later taken to a regional medical center and has since been released from treatment.

A juvenile male was arrested and charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Later the suspect was charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Over the course of the investigation, B86 Radio has reported a number of arrests related to the shooting. The latest charges include

Tamarius Beasley

Tamarius Beasley, age 18, of Stony Point. He is charged with misdemeanor possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Beasley was placed under a $1,500.00 dollar secured bond with a first court appearance on 08-05-2024.

A second juvenile has now been charged in this case. This juvenile was charged with accessory after the fact.
