Mooresville High School is searching for a new Football Coach.
On Tuesday, Joe Nixon informed Blue Devil players that he is returning to Rowan County as the county athletic director. Mooresville High posted the football coaching vacancy.
Under Nixon, Mooresville captured the last two Greater Metro Conference championships and won 21 of 24 games.
The Blue Devils were 30-12 in Nixon’s four seasons at the helm with three playoff appearances.
