Millsaps Named Interim Taylorsville Chief Of Police

The Town of Taylorsville has announced that Michael Millsaps is the new interim Chief of Police. Millsaps is currently the School Recourse Officer at Alexander Central High School.

The 55-year old Alexander County native has been with the Department since 2008.

Millsaps takes over for soon to be retired Douglas Bowman who has announced his retirement. Bowman’s last day on the force is August 31st.
