Marion Police Searching For Murder Suspect

Authorities in McDowell County continue to seek a murder suspect.

On Saturday, November 12th, Marion Police responded to Grandview Station Shopping Center at 2875 Sugar Hill Road in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Alfredo Guardian Magana, 45, of Marion, had been critically injured in an altercation involving a knife. He later was pronounced dead.

Investigators identified 38-year old Salvador Magana of Spruce as the suspect. The video from the parking lot showed the suspect running over the victim as he fled the area in a white Chevrolet pickup truck.

The Marion Police Department has secured second-degree murder warrant for Salvador Romero Magana  who’s listed as weighing 150 pounds and stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He may be operating a white Chevrolet Z71 Silverado truck
