Man Jailed This Morning After Alleged Assault

This morning, 23 year old Olea-Starlyn Javier Rosario of Newton was taken into custody by Newton Police. Rosario was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $3,000.
