Man Jailed In Alexander County For Indecent Liberties With A Child…Updated

27-year old Corey Dalton Anderson of Caldwell County was taken into custody on Wednesday. Anderson was arrested last week in Caldwell County on a warrant from Alexander County for indecent liberties with a child. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000. No court date is listed.

Update: The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office released additional details on Monday, January 24th

On January 4, 2022, The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a possible sexual assault of a thirteen year old. Alexander County Department of Social Services was notified of the allegations. According to the report, the incident occurred over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

27-year old Corey Dalton Anderson of Caldwell County was identified as the suspect.
