On Wednesday, August 3rd, the Alexander County Office of Probation and Parole arrested 41-year old Darius Dewaon Howell of Taylorsville. He was placed in custody for probation violation out of county. Howell also has a pending charge in Alexander County for felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $12,500. Monday, August 8th is listed as a court date.
