Man From Stony Point Jailed After Scuffle With Deputy

29-year old Roderick Garin Baker of Stony Point was arrested on Monday by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office following the report of an assault.

Baker was taken into custody following a scuffle with Deputies. He’s been charged assault on a female, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Baker is being held in the Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000.
