Hickory Police arrested a man overnight on weapons and drug charges. Thalmus Jaton Linder, age 40 was taken into custody on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of marijuana. Linder is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $11,000 and will make a court appearance today in Newton.
