A Caldwell county man is facing 15 sex offenses involving a minor. The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Ernest Ray Messer of Lenoir on Monday. Messer is charged with ten counts of second degree felony sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of felony third degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Messer was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center with a secured bond of $100,000.
