Man Charged With Statutory Rape

Lenoir Police arrested 32-year-old Joseph Wade Collins on Tuesday and charged him with felony statutory rape of a child 15-years-old or younger. Collins, age 32 of Lenoir, was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $75,000. He is scheduled to make a court appearance today.
