A Hickory man is facing eight charges following his arrest Wednesday morning. Hunter Dawson van Horn, age 20 was taken into custody by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and charged with four counts of probation violation , violation of a domestic violence protection order, assault on a female, felony larceny, and resisting a public officer. Van Horn was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $41,000.
