Hickory Police arrested a man early Saturday morning after receiving a report of a vehicle break-in that was in progress. Officers responded to Union Square around 12:45 and arrested 57 year old Ernest Cleveland Woods of Hickory. Woods is charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $5,000.
