54 year old Scott Randall Benfield of Statesville was arrested Saturday by the Town of Catawba Police and charged with felony possession of cocaine and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place, for a controlled substance. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention center under a secured bond of $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 3rd, 2019.
