Two people are facing charges following a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations involving the human trafficking of a minor and exposing a child to controlled substances.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, detectives arrested 36-year-old Robyn Amber Rohrl and 44-year-old Timothy Matthew Jenkins, both of Maiden, on Monday, May 18th. Rohrl is charged with human trafficking of a minor and exposing a child to a controlled substance. Jenkins is charged with exposing a child to a controlled substance.
Investigators say the arrests stem from an ongoing investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and the involvement of a minor, authorities said no additional details are being released at this time.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says detectives continue to pursue leads and are asking anyone with information related to the investigation to contact Detective Glover or Detective Capps at 704-732-9050. Both suspects are being held at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond.
