Lincolnton Man Facing Felony Charge In Alexander County

A Lincolnton man is being held on a felony charge in the Alexander County Detention Center. Jeffery Phillip Maier, 55, is detained without bond on a 2023 charge of felony obtaining property by false pretense. He is scheduled to appear in Alexander County Superior Court on September 15th.

In Lincoln County, Maier awaits trial for felony identity theft and resisting arrest. Felony obtaining property by false pretense charges are pending in Iredell and Caldwell Counties as well.
