Lenoir Woman Charged With Child Abduction

54-year-old Jan Annette Main Bryant of Lenoir was arrested Thursday by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies. She’s charged with felony child abduction. Bryant was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $75,000 secured bond. A District Court date was scheduled Thursday.

Bryant was listed as an abductor in an Amber Alert on Wednesday. As previously reported, she allegedly abducted a 10-year old girl from Lenoir. The child is safe.
