Taylorsville Police Officers arrested Joseph Lee Sawyers, age 45 of Lenoir, on Sunday, August 24th. The suspect was wanted in Catawba County on 2024 charges for felony embezzlement and violation of his habitual felon status. Sawyers is no longer listed as an inmate in the Alexander County Detention Center.
