August 13, 2024 By Richard C. Gilbert

Lenoir – On Tuesday, August 13, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the NC State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated a fatal collision in Caldwell County on Beecher Anderson Road at Ted Seehorn Drive. A 1999 Ford F-150 traveling north on Beecher Anderson Road, failed to reduce speed adequately and collided with a 2004 Chevrolet truck stopped in the northbound lane, waiting to turn left.

The driver of the Ford, Jeremy Allan Wilson, 45, of Lenoir, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Two passengers in the vehicle were transported by EMS to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Timothy Kaleb Owens, 35, of Lenoir, was transported by EMS to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates impairment was not a contributing factor in the collision. During the on-scene investigation, the roadway was closed in the area for approximately one hour. No charges will be filed in this case.
