Lenoir Man Jailed By Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies

John Thomas Alvey, age 56 of Lenoir, was arrested on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was served arrest warrants dating back to 2022 for failure to appear. Alvey missed court dates for larceny and resisting arrest. He’s listed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $45,000. His next court date is set for October 23rd in Taylorsville.

Alvey has charges pending in Caldwell County for larceny, possession of stolen goods and second-degree trespass. His next court date in Lenoir is set for November 16th.
