Lenoir Man Charged With Attempted Arson

A Caldwell County Man man is facing multiple charges including attempted arson.

23-year-old Benjamin Howard Kersey Collettsville Road in Lenoir was arrested Thursday, July 20th by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged with felony attempted first-degree arson, breaking and entering, resisting a public officer, assault on a female, and two counts of failure to appear. Kersey is being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $113,500. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday in Lenoir.
